Noctes 2014 Reference

Her full name is Noctes Arevalo and she is also one of the big characters in my story 'The Guide' this where most of my characters and world collide together. She is the only survivor of her world, her dimension. The only survivor of her kind. 

Name: Noctes Arevalo.

Gender: Female.

Date of Birth/Creation: 31st of July, 1994.

Current Age: 19 years old. Her age process goes at the same speed as that of a human being.

Species: Maned Wolf, Komodo Dragon, Church Owl and Human. Of each species 25% DNA was mixed of both male and female.

Personality: While Noctes seems to be a happy-go-lucky type on the outside, on the inside she holds deep emotions she'd rather not out. She tries to keep herself strong in front of others, as a support for those who need a somebody. Loyal to her family and friends. Naive, lack of concentration, hyper active and has a creative mind. It could be she is still trying to find her true self, but the process is taking a lot of time and energy. 

Short Background History: Not always did she roam free, before finding her way into the wild world she was a tool created by researchers to be used within the war that was ongoing in her world. Kept in captivity with the many others that were assumed to be mindless creatures, but combining the animals DNA along with that of a human caused it all to form an intelligent creature that understood the human language. Up until she was 13 she was held down, trained to kill or be killed. Every single one of the creatures that still lived kept each other close, trying to see the positive side of it all. Maybe after the war they'd be free to go and explore. See the things they read in books. 

It wasn't short after turning 13 years old that the government suddenly wanted to force down these experiments and creations. The scientists heavily objected, fighting back so their plans could keep going. This was all kept secret from people outside, nobody knew these murderous 'machines' were created. In a fierce anger for the one and only human being that took great care and respected them as equals was murdered Noctes realized something every single one of the others had gained more from human DNA, it was the ability to camouflage herself as a human. This way she could sneak out and gain freedom without a fight, Gabriel, whom she feels as if he is her brother, told her not to make a scene. Angry as she was she kept her cool, freeing the others making their escape.

Not wanting anyone to ever suffer what they had suffered, she and others burnt down the facility. Containing the at least 150 scientists, researchers and military officers. With blood shed they left. The war ended 2 years after, making all the effort and suffering they went through nothing. All grew up spread across the world, still in good contact as they all considered themselves family of each other.

Some searched for blood relatives, from those who donated blood. And some tried to forget the past. Living an average life, or even of royal class as humans. Hiding their other true side because it might frighten the world. Noctes lived along side Gabriel, Colleyn, Sirn, Penthesilia and Aelius. As happy as they could be living together, it ended with tragedy. A tragedy that Noctes will never forget and never unsee. (Background story for 'The Guide')

Abilities: Noctes has a very instable moleculair structure, even if she was the best out of all created she had a gene that broke once applied to the others. This instability causes her molecules to adapt to her environment, as for water, once in touch of water her body changes to a certain way that she can live within water without any problems. Bad side of this, it also happens when touched by rain. Fire is a secondary element that does her body to adapt and her molecules to change, being able to withstand up to 250 degrees Celsius and her speed increases. As many other animals her fur grows thicker and changes colour once the weather changes. The elements that are absorbed during each touch, for example once water is splashed against Noctes she can force this water back. Like spitting fire or water. (Needs to be edited) <- Also energy forms of some can be absorbed and used as weapon against the other. 

One of the things she can not adapt to is lightning, which is also one of the most deadly things against her. 

From every creature there is one little ability that is modified. As for the venom and cure she produces, the fact she can turn her head 180 degrees and her size.
